Repco Bank Ltd., was commenced in the year 1969 by Govt. of India    with the main objective of rehabilitating repatriates from Burma and Srilanka. The Schemes are open to all on admission as members of the bank so as to enable the bank serve its main objective effectively. Under special powers conferred in the byelaws, the Board of Directors, appointed by Govt.of India, governs the operations of the institution and under administrative control of ‘Ministry of Home Affairs
